Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated June 7, 2026

Forge builds and, where you opt in, hosts real software on infrastructure we operate on your behalf. To keep that infrastructure safe for everyone, the following uses are prohibited. We screen every idea at intake and may decline, suspend, or terminate a project that violates this policy — without prior notice where the risk is acute.

Prohibited content and activities

  • Crypto-mining or other deliberate resource abuse of hosted compute.
  • Phishing, deceptive, or impersonation content — anything designed to trick people into giving up credentials, money, or data.
  • Malware — distributing, hosting, or building software intended to damage, gain unauthorized access to, or disrupt systems.
  • Spam / unsolicited bulk messaging or email, and circumvention of recipient consent or anti-spam rules.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation of minors.
  • Fraudulent goods, services, or schemes — including get-rich-quick, pyramid, Ponzi, and "guaranteed income" schemes.
  • Intellectual-property infringement — using Forge to copy or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

Refused project classes

Regardless of hosting, Forge does not build:

  • fraud or scam infrastructure;
  • fake-review, fake-engagement, or fake-testimonial tooling;
  • stalkerware, covert surveillance, or non-consensual tracking;
  • hate, extremist, or harassment platforms;
  • unlicensed regulated activity (operating banking, securities, gambling, medical, legal, or controlled-substance services without the required license).

Enforcement

We use automated quotas and anomaly detection (for example, unusual compute or egress) plus content screening on deployed sites. Suspected phishing or active abuse on shared infrastructure is handled on a rapid-response basis. We may suspend or terminate a project, and remove hosted content, to protect the platform and third parties.

If you believe a project was flagged in error, contact us and we will review it.
